honestly, if you don’t have media literacy when playing tcoaal you might think its edgy slop. everyone has taste differences buy in my opinion i think its very well orchestrated when it comes to plot, story, characters, etc. the codependency between andrew and ashley is well documented too so id say give it a try! if you do end up enjoying it be wary of chapter 3, its like withessing a car crash between two fully loaded tow trucks
